UAV Gimbal
iFuzion was contracted with a company from Brazil to design and engineering a custom gimbal that could be 3D printed in low volume production. This design was optimized for the FDM process and 15 units were manufactured to spec.
The gimbal housing was designed to incorporate a Sony FCB-EX1020 camer and the TAU 640 Flir camera system. There were embedded servos to control the axis of motion which gave the gimbal the capabilty of artuculation.
